Jewels in the basement, mixing up the medicine.
Bunny compost
Priarie fluvial loam (sage compost)
Clay heavy, those two mounds are showing my pistol grip.
Fresh Elk
It is chock-full of what looks like a combination of potato bugs and giant marijuana seeds.
Most of them look masticated, although I imagine a few of them will pop.
I am tired of watching my plants dry out over night with + %50 coco.
I am mixing this batch heavier -with clay and compost. Nothing under 3 gallon.
Looking at flowering 20-30 plants.
I am going to need a whole shitpile of soil.
Luckily I have a few piles around here matching that description.
In the foreground is a fabric pot full of expired coco. I mend this in with stable sweepings, Timothy Hay , Romaine luttuce ( 10 gallons per week) and hamster bedding.
10 years I have been turning that pile.
Every Spring I harvest 5 gallons of Creek muck and mix it with 5 gallons of red shale. This becomes the media in my fishpond, as a biological filter, all summer. Up north here, by springtime, after all of the melt and thaws , it is getting anaerobically ganky down there.
I grow climbing peas every year.
Every Spring I cycle the 'nitrogen fixed' soil from the raised beds and refill them with cold compost. I aim to grow Alfalfa this year as well, as I understand clover has the same fixing abilities.
The stack is about 3 feet high. I use the axe to cleave and turn the pile all winter.
During the summer I keep it covered with a thick blanket of leaf litter. I can literally hear the nightcrawlers moving through it after dark.
So, that is my mix in progress.
This is my month!
7 girls down !
I am harvesting continuously, right through till the end of the month, the grand finale of course -Two L. comp.
12 girls to go !
Like it or lump it -everything flips at the end of the month.
I still have seeds in towel !
Time to spread this brown love around and blow this s*** up !
This is my last indoor veg I am shutting h'er down, tearing it apart ,and building my daughter a bedroom down there.
I better tie this one off, I don't think I have many secrets left.
