🍓 Crush Genetics 🍓
Hey MO
Thank you for the info on the trifoliate, that was a new one on me. Pretty cool actually.
Here is a look up that one's skirt:

She does have a little bit of variegation of color on a few leaves also. Although that is not a concern for me.

All three of the Pink Lotus have shown sex...
And they are all GIRLS!! @Willie
They are all three back in the Veg tent and I am looking for good homes for two of them, I popped 3 seeds and got 3 girls, I only want one. Now I have to decide which one to keep. (I'm leaning towards the trifoliate, just cause I've never had one.) They are all three really nice-looking plants. I intentionally did no topping or FIMing, or even LSTing, as I wanted to see what the structure was when grown naturally. Opinions welcome on which one I should keep.

These are photos of the White Widow,

And after I got her cleaned up:

I gave the three Chosen Mango's slightly larger shoes today also.

3 girls!!!! Good for you. Those red stems on the pink ladies will bring good things......they look great :) Don't worry about those leaves, she does that....they get all ugly and fall off. The trifolate is very cool. I have only had one many years ago..can't remember the strain. A nice rarity!

Thanks for stopping by and the kind words.
I decided to keep the trifoliate plant, why not, right? One of the other ones gets picked up today by another grower.
I don't have a large circle of in-persons grow friends, so I was pleased to be able to re-home at least one of the plants.
It would be REALLY hard for me to cull one of them.
I'm going to up-pot the one I'm keeping into a 2 gal transplantable grow bag today, then eventually into a 7 gal grow bag.
I will leave her totally untrimmed, although I will begin to LST her.
Thanks again for the chance to grow your gear.
Cheers,
WillieP

So, the new phone has a 'portrait' mode to it, and I will admit it takes a pretty cool picture...

I'm looking forward to taking pics of these buds once they fatten up.

Well, I made gummies today.
I used the same recipe that I usually do but upped the octane level so to speak.

The recipe calls for just a 1/4 cup of canna butter and makes approximately 180 gummies.
I'm sure you can see that the original ones are not to high powered.
(And I don't need them to be super strong, but I did want them stronger than that.)

Over the holidays I took my first swing at making FECO.
I did a quick wash 'golden dragon' and then distilled off the ethanol to reclaim it.
Overall, I was quite pleased with the process. The gummies are the first edibles made with it.
I just had to wild ass guess on the amount to use. I am shooting for a finished product that is 3 times as strong as the original. (approx 10 mg.)
@MO_Grow I made the FECO out of the M-99 strain. I have made my caramels out of it, and they have been very well received. (y)

Everything else just cruising along, I've topped 2 out of 3 Chosen Mangos.
The Pink Lotus seems to have stalled out after returning to the veg tent after being in the flower tent to determine sex.
I kind of saw this coming, but this is a first for me, so not exactly sure what to expect. Time will tell.
Cheers,
WillieP

So, I up-potted the Chosen Mango tonight.
They look a little rough, I had let them get too dry before transplanting.
I'm guessing they will have snapped back into shape by morning.

This is the Pink Lotus that I mentioned didn't want to transition back to veg.
I cut away a bunch of big fans and switched my lighting schedule from 18/6 to 24/0.
Hoping that will help straighten them out. As mentioned, I haven't done this before.
All advice on the topic is welcome.

So, remember back when I said that I was going to leave the keeper PL to grow out naturally other that LST?
Well yeah, that shit didn't happen...

This the funky top that just didn't seem to want to go back into Veg:

And this is after I cut away the ugly fan leaves and topped her:

This is the WW:

And some of the lowers:

Just for bookkeeping, all three CM's still looking good.
I won't drop any of the autos that @BigPretzel was kind enough to send me till after I get back from vacation in FL later in the month.
(I don't want my plant sitter to have to worry about seedlings)
But I am fired up about the opportunity, I've never ran an auto before.

Hope your grows are killing it!
Cheers,
WillieP

Bookkeeping:
Day 35 from flip for the WW.
Today I put into service a UV light for the first time.
It is a T5HO 54 watt fixture that came with a 6500 K lamp in it.
I replaced the lamp with a Agromax pure UV.

I digital timer will allow 3 different interval timings to be set.
I have them spaced out during the 12 hrs. of lights on and set for a 3-minute duration.
That doesn't seem like a lot, but I don't want to fry the shit out of that WW and I plan on increasing the duration slowly.
Any advice from someone with UV experience is certainly welcome... Anyone???

Cheers,
WillieP

From solacure website "starting with 1 hour and working your way up. How much depends on how far away they are. 1 foot or less or so is fine, these lights are designed to do just that.
LINK They offer T8 HO ( Ive never heard of that)
Yours are more powerful. Still, beyond 24 inches, any T5HO ( the Tech) can only hit so hard.

From my digging its one of those strain specific deals, they all take it a bit differently, but at 36inches I did 4 15 min cycles for 3 days then added 15 mins to the cycle every 3 days till they were getting 4 1 hour 15min cycles I didnt see any ill effects so ill go closer next time or give em more time per cycle till I see visible stress but I didnt find the limit this last go, I also didnt get them till only 10 days left in flower id like to do a full 3 weeks to see how that does the gals, this run definitely packed on the frost but without having run the same genetics twice under them I can't say for sure if it was the uvb or tony greens frosty beans lol

I increased the duration of my 3 UV light on cycles to 15 minutes each.
Fingers crossed...
(I understand that I have no reference for how this plant would have done without the UV lighting. This is my first run of this strain.)
(I do hope to get a feel for using the UV lighting on this plant and see what benefits it may bring in the future.)

Cheers,
WillieP
