They have the "All Day IPA" which is good too, but the Two Hearted (LOL it's not Doctor Who but a Trout? Who decided on this?) is wonderful :)
Isn't All Day a Founders beer? Or are there two with the same name?? Cause I'd actually be really interested in trying a Bells session IPA!

And they should totally do a limited run of Timelord cans haha

You maybe right there and I may be trying to remember which one makes that from a slightly blurry memory haha.

I'm out in "the sticks" and even the little Liquor Store down the street has like an entire fridge dedicated to local IPAs, and a few from other areas. I got to try the one IPA that is made from "Resin" of the Hops Plant; They essentially made Hops Hash and used THAT.... The flavor and texture totally reminded me of hash LOL!

Maybe the Bell's Light Hearted Ale would work?
Took a peek, and it's in stock at my local Total Wine.
Will swing by today, if they have a single available, we'll check it out.
Sounds intriguing! I have a Total Wine not too far away too so if it's good I'll track one down!

Yeah, I've had a lot of Founders All Days in my life... it was a go too for trail and beach days for me for a while

And it's really amazing how much the beer world has changed over such a short period of time. I remember when the packy was all macros, Sam Adam's and if you were really fortunate a local midsize brew like Harpoon out here. Now the crappy corner store near me has a half a dozen IPAs and if I drive 10 more minutes I have a store with 100 choices. Heck, my local supermarket has a pretty incredible selection now.

Packy by the way is some masshole slang for package store aka liquor store. Just realized I typed that without thinking, but I'm leaving it lol

I have to admit that those All Day IPA cans have been out with me a few times as well :)

This whole Summer has been just busy.... The addition being added on, the plants, and a multitude of things that need doing has made it harder for the Wife and I to get out in the Woods that aren't just out back behind the house Where we are, there's a bunch of little areas that have a parking lot, and like, trails all over the place, and we would go out there after packing up a few things (Read as "Multiple joints, a Beer,or a little half pint of some type of Liquor LOL) and then we'd go walking for a while, and explore different areas of the Woods, some of which I post pictures from as I feel like they're beautiful areas, and we would select which strains we wanted to take with us as some of them are VERY well geared towards a walk through some trails, or, off trail where we end up finding things.

One day we went out DEEP in the woods just to explore and see about some Mushrooms, and took two plastic grocery bags with us to haul them with if we found any, and we see this tree down a little ridge, and it appears to have Mushrooms on it, so we go in for a closer look, and it was literally COVERED with Chicken of the Woods Mushrooms... Like covered!

This ONE downed tree.... Bro, we filled both bags full of Chicken of the Woods, and left the rest. we cut them off to make sure to leave enough there for them to regrow another time, and the amount we took that filled up two full bags of these wasn't even close to half of what was on this one tree.

Mind you we then had to hike up hill with this stuff, and it wasn't easy, as the tree was laying down pretty steep, but we did it. Stopped at a buddy's house and made sure the Mushrooms we found were in fact the real deal, and gave him some, gave another friend some, and then fried up a bunch, and put the rest in the freezer. It was a good score to say the least :) But yeah, I found that UK Cheese, Chem D, Blue Cheese, and a few other strains are probably the best for us to go hike in the Woods with, and taking a Tall Boy Beer with me or said half pint, is a great way to enjoy the woods LOL.

Made it down to Total Wine, and singles of the Light Hearted were available. Hoping to have it this evening - we'll see. My sister contacted me last minute, with a request to cover for her. Should still be home before it's too late....

It was a little late, but got a brew in tonight.

Led off w/ a Hop Splash. I love the Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher, and the Sierra Nevada might have a little fresher hop flavor. Wish these didn't cost as much as a beer, but really good.

On to the Light Hearted Ale:
I don't have any experience with the session IPA's, but at 3.7%, this is quite drinkable, and I'm feeling zero buzz while typing. Definitely has some floral and piney flavors, along w/ a significant maltiness. Body and mouth feel are thin, and there is near zero sweetness.... almost what you would expect from the long forgotten Brut IPA style that vanished when the NE/Hazy craze took hold. I like that a lot. If I were looking for a session ale, this Light Hearted would do for sure!!!

I drink a bunch of these guys stuff...can only get it in New york but I'm there quite a bit and have a few places I call and order what I'm after so I can pick it up on my way thru...Summer I go thru quite a bit of the blueberry wheat ale and my favorite desert beer as I call it after a nice big sirloin is their Chocolate Cherry Bomb stout.

Sierra-Nevada is a good one, I've had a bunch of their stuff too. I think they may have been the ones that made the "resin" IPA I mentioned, but I'm not sure. They have some great Beer though.

The store I get most of mine from also has Moosehead and .... There's another really good beer I'm trying to think of from Alaska....I'll figure it out later LOL.

I love hazy ipas, never heard of a NZ style. I’ll have to hunt some down once sober October is done
Sober October...damn!
You've got a while to go! ?
I'm not sure if New Zealand is a style, or just where the hops are grown?

When your hunt commences, I've come across Bruce Blend as a common NZ variety that's truly fantastic.
