A snow pea is using a volunteer for support. The volunteers came up in December..


I may keep one of these volunteers, I like the purple stems and the leaves were very purple when the weather was cooler

The Tashkurgan have taken off! I was watering to much at first, but have slowed down on the water and they are doing well.

Last starts for this season! A friend mentioned how much he liked Pua (Bodhi's Old School Hash Plant x Cannacopia's Chocolate), and I realized I had not started any, so a few of those. And I am very curious how the Kataware-doki (Satori x Pandora's Box) are going to be, so a few of those since Satori and Pandora's Box are some of my favorite smokes.

Mendo Purps x 88G13/HP doing well.
This one is a female and will be going out into the garden soon.
Here's a close-up of the top of a leaf. I love the way the two top leaflets look like horns!

These small containers work well for me to start seedlings in. I cut out the bottom to encourage the roots to "air prune" themselves. I had "help" with the work.


The tray keeps the bottom of the pots up off the plywood table...
Similar to using a "pot in a pot" technique.

In the greenhouse, before placing the tray on the table, I wipe the plywood table top down with neem oil, and only water as much as is needed, this keeps the fungus gnats away.
(I moved the seedlings into a temporary greenhouse about 6 weeks ago. Was very cold at night and the seedlings needed more warmth)

DJ Short's Blueberry, transplanted a couple days ago, is already looking fatter.
The color in the center is encouraging, considering it has been warm at night.
Perhaps Blueberry is one of the purples that is genetic rather than brought on by cold?

More natural pest control. A water feature made from a 1/2 wine barrel liner I got at the local nursery.
I put branches and boards inside for the tree frogs to lay eggs on.
